The Taylor Municipal Airport is located in the eastern half of Williamson County, Texas approximately 34 miles northeast of Austin. The City of Taylor is 18 miles east of Round Rock and Interstate 35 and approximately 23 miles from Georgetown, the County Seat of Williamson County. Taylor is located at the junction of U.S. Highway 79 and State Highway 95. The airport is located on the west side of town. The Electric Reliability Council of Texas sets across Airport Road, east of the airport. Taylor is a growing community with a history going back to 1876.
